Included this week in Art News:-
  • Term 1 Program
In Art this term, we have been looking at primary and secondary colours, colour contrast and colour harmony and materials and techniques that create different textures.
We have begun using all of these skills to apply them to a mini-project. Stay tuned to see the results! Alex LG9
“In art we have been learning about colours and how to make other colours.” Billy LG9
“In art we have been learning about the elements of art. I have really liked it. My favourite element so far is ‘texture’ because it can make things look realistic.” Shing-Yin LG9
“My favourite thing in art so far is using oil pastels and blending colours.” George LG10
“My favourite thing is making colours using the oil pastels. I have used primary colours which are red, yellow and blue and I blended them to make secondary colours. My favourite was green.” Sienna C LG10
“My favourite thing in art is using the primary colours, which are red, yellow and blue. I like seeing how they mix and blend to create new colours” Claire LG10
