Working Towards a Wrapper Free Yard
We are really excited about our new Waste a Litter Reduction Plan! There are going to be some new rules enforced to stop litter entering our yard.
STEPS
Week 5 Term 2- children must make sure that they leave all rubbish in the classroom bins. No rubbish is to leave the classrooms.
Term 3- any non-recyclable waste in lunch boxes will need to be taken home in children’s lunch boxes.
These new changes are being put in place to reduce our impact on the environment by not allowing waste to get into our community’s ecosystems as well as by discouraging families from using non-recyclables in the first place.

We thank you for your support in helping our school, local and global environment!
Scary Facts
Compost
Paul from Resourcesmart has kindly offered to create a new composting system at our school very soon!
WANTED: If you have old carpet, pallets, wire or star pickets we could have, please bring them in.
If you are interested in reading our new Waste and Litter Reduction plan, please contact Kelly, LG3
