- Welcome to our Japanese Language Assistant, Sho Sensei
We are very lucky to be welcoming Shoichiro (Sho) Sensei to the St Columba’s team this year.
Sho is 21 years old and is a university student from Osaka, Japan. While in Australia he will be living in Ballarat and sharing his time between St Columba’s School and St Alipius Primary School assisting with Japanese lessons. Sho’s objective is to improve his English while assisting Japanese teachers to expose Australian children to authentic Japanese language and culture. Sho’s hobbies include baseball and basketball and he is already very popular among the St Columba’s students. Sho will be at St Columba’s School every Monday and every second Tuesday and Wednesday.
Please help us welcome Sho to our school community!
