St Columba’s School Happi Coats
Arigatou gozamashta to the wonderful volunteers who sewed our beautiful set of twelve St Columba’s happi coats! Clare Duffy, Tegan Sizeland and Leah Hare worked with Erica and the Ballarat Japanese Teachers Network to sew the twelve happi coats in the St Columba’s colours of royal blue and gold, displaying the words St Columba’s School in Japanese along the collar. On the back is the Japanese ‘matsuri’ kanji. These special happi coats will be worn at Japanese events and competitions to represent the pride we have in the St Columba’s Japanese language program.
