Included this week in Japanese News:-
- Japanese Club
- Japanese Apps for home learning
Japanese Club!
We still have spaces in Japanese Club for term 3! Japanese Club is a fantastic opportunity for Grade 3-6 students to further develop their Japanese language skills by experiencing authentic Japanese culture, art and craft, food, music and games!
Japanese Club will take place on Monday afternoon from 3.15pm - 4.15pm in the hall.
Students from our term 2 Japanese Club are now invited to rejoin for term 3 and we would love to see lots of new faces too! To register your child's interest please email their name and learning group to: ewilson@scballarat.catholic.edu.au
Japanese apps for studying at home!
Many students are motivated to improve their Japanese skills by using their hiragana flashcards to self study - this is fantastic! To assist your children with their Japanese there are many engaging apps available for tablets. If you have a tablet device at home you could make a Japanese folder for these apps so that they are easy for your child to find. These are some more of my favourite Japanese learning apps for children: Hiragana memory hint English version by The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Learn Japanese with TicTic by Tinoon, Learn Japanese by MindSnacks
Ganbatte kudasai (good luck) and happy studying! - Erica sensei.
