Reminders
Trial Space
Well done to all the 1/2 students who are being so adaptable this week as we trial a new learning environment. At the end of the week the teachers will make a decision as to which space we think is best suited for our learning. We will let you know the decision ASAP.
Last week Mrs Butler visited the 1/2 Learning Community to share stories and photos of her amazing travels last term. We heard a lot about the places she visited including Nazareth and Jordan. The students were very intrigued to hear about being able to float in the Dead Sea. Mrs Butler showed us a menu of a traditional meal from Jesus’ time that she shared with people on her pilgrimage.
- We are very excited for our Long Day Excursion in the first week back of Term 4. Please remember to respond to CareMonkey eForm by tomorrow, Thursday 21st September.
- Footy Colours Day on the last day of term - Friday the 22nd of September.

Investigations
We have loved being involved in a range of student/family run clinics.
On Thursday Dale (Benny’s dad) ran a iPad clinic.
He showed the children how to download the app ‘Split Lens’ and the children were able to produce multiple images of themselves in the one frame/shot.
They loved it!

Juice Bar
The 1/2 Community were so impressed with all the work that went into the Blenders Blitz. Here are some of the children’s reviews:
Billy R: I thought the 5/6 ’s did really well at making the wooden stand. I don’t know how they made it but it was pretty big!
Thomas: I liked the juice because it tasted yummy. I ordered orange power.
Sadie: The money we paid got donated to a charity. I chose the RSPCA because I wanted to help the animals.
Isabella: It was fantastic! They built their own stand just by ordering the stuff and they did it all on their own.

Crazy Science
Banjo: My favourite part of the whole thing was when he made the elephant toothpaste.
Harry B: I liked it when Gracie got to hold the air blower. The air blew the ball up and kept it in the air.
Ashlee: The scientist put different liquids and chemicals in to make the elephant toothpaste explode. It looked cool.
Skyla: I really liked when the scientist made some elephant toothpaste. I got a big fright when the small containers popped up into the air.
