Catholic Footy Carnival
Last Friday on the 26th of May we went to st Patrick's College to compete in a competition of footy. We played 4 games and won 3 of them. In our team we had a mix of boys and girls, it was lovely to see the boys and girls passing to each other and the girls getting in there and having a go. It was also entertaining to see two siblings caring, encouraging and passing to each other. Here are some photos that were taken of the exciting day.

Blake’s Fundraiser
This Sunday 4th June from 1pm - 6pm there is a fundraiser for Blake Dridan at North Ballarat Sports Club. Please come along to this wonderful afternoon full of music and activities. All proceeds go directly to Blake’s family.
Choral Festival
On Sunday the 28th of May, part of the choir contributed in the Choral Festival. We sang Electricity from the musical Billy Elliot, and Inanay which is an Aboriginal song. We were lucky enough to be the only primary school invited to the Choral Festival! We really enjoyed listening to all of the other choirs sing. One of our favourites was the the Federation Uni choir. We had lots of fun singing and listening.

Celebrating Catholic Education Week with our ‘Sister School’ OLHC
The children from grade three to six from St Columba's School went to
OLHC, our sister school, for Catholic Education Day. First of all we went to the church for a Mass then after that we had lunch. During lunch and play we had a challenge to meet someone new and get to know them as much as we could. We had to find out their name, something about their family and their favourite thing to do. It was a great opportunity to meet people from another school. We had an amazing time at OLHC and we really hope we can go again later in the year.
