What a week we have had! The first full week in the new learning spaces has been a hectic and exciting time for staff and students. A big thank you to all the families who took the time last week to be a part of our feast day celebrations and check out the new spaces. Staff continue to work hard themselves and with the students in developing practices and behaviours that will best support learning in the environment. The change from Monday to Friday alone was incredible. Congratulations also go to our students involved in their sacramental celebrations last weekend as well, this continues to be a time that highlights the strong links between Parish and School.
Complaints and Grievances Policy
In this week’s newsletter and on our website you will find our updated Complaints and Grievances policy, this has recently changed in line with our OH&S commitments to incorporate a particular focus on protecting teachers and staff in their duties and the promotion of a safe working environment. Mrs Butler’s Enrichment Leave
Mrs Butler has begun the first leg of her incredible journey and we look forward to many updates and stories when she returns. At this time she should be somewhere in Jordan beginning her two week pilgrimage through the Holy Lands. We wish her a safe and incredibly rewarding time away.

Parking around the school
A reminder to our families about safe parking around the school as you would have seen in the newsletter - the corner of Howard and Armstrong St does feature a no standing area to allow visibility when coming around the corner. Parents are reminded not to park in this area at any time.
Long Service Leave
This week we also bid a (temporary) farewell to Kathy H who is taking some well earned long service leave. In her place we welcome Megan Vila Pouca for the remainder of this term, please make her feel welcome in this role.
Volunteering at St Columba's
In order to be a volunteer at St Columba’s, please register via ‘Expression of Interest’ on our website (School Community tab, child safe school, volunteering at St Columba's).
Once this has been completed you will be sent a link to complete the online module.
Please remember if you haven't completed this process you are unable to volunteer or run clinics or attend excursions. Thank you to the families that have already completed this process.
If you would like more information please contact the office.

The following Prep students will be introduced at this assembly:-
