Use of Iona Wing Rooms
With the 1/2 Learning Community moving into the Mercy Wing, we now have 4 empty rooms in the Iona Wing. After being so short of space for so long, it is wonderful to have extra space available. These rooms will be used for a variety of purposes; library, visual arts, performing arts/music, Japanese, intervention programs and Wellbeing/Christian Meditation.
Tomorrow (Thursday 9th) removalists will spend the day relocating the library from it’s current location in the staff planning room into what was the old LG 10 classroom. As it will take us a week to re-shelve all the books, the library will be closed to students until Monday 20th November.
Foundation Transition Program
Over the last few weeks we have welcomed our new Preps (Foundation students) for 2018 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. It is wonderful to see their excited faces and they spend some time familiarising themselves with school.
Next Tuesday evening, 14th November, at 7.00 we will be holding an information session for all parents of children starting school next year in the school hall.
