- Athletics Carnival - Urgent request for volunteers
- 5/6 Basketball
We are in desperate need for assistance on our Athletics Day - Monday 27th March.
A reminder that ALL volunteers (whether existing or new) need to complete an Expression of Interest form prior to volunteering. Please click here for the form. All volunteers must also have a current Working With Children card. If you can help please email Nicky on firstname.lastname@example.org or Wayne email@example.com.
Just a reminder parents and family members are unable to be on the oval during the Athletics Carnival, unless you have been signed up to help. This is an excellent reason to volunteer, you get a prime position to witness your child/children’s excitement as they participate in a wide range of activities.
The canteen will be closed to all students, we request that families honour this and don't buy junk food for your child.
Please ensure that your child dresses appropriately for the weather conditions. Children are welcome to wear a top to represent their house colour, otherwise please wear full sports uniform and a house colour bib will be supplied.
It's going to be a wonderful day, please consider if you are able to assist!
I would like to congratulate the following students that represented the school in the year 5/6 basketball championships:-
Abby Blee, Abbey Britt, Rose Murnane, Daisy Darbin, Enna Rinaldi, Macy Donaldson, Tess Palmer, Gemma Phillips, Sholeh O’Keefe, Ashton Trainor, Joe McManus, Bond Ripper, Tom Palmer, Jacob Britt, Tom Smart, Logan Clark, Jett Ripper and Charlie Darbin.
I was extremely proud of the way all our basketballers conducted themselves throughout a hot and trying day.
Our boys finished third in their section and were beaten by the eventual winning boys team. Our girls made the final and performed incredibly well against some very strong opposition.
I would also like to express a big thank you to Mark Donaldson who took the day off from work to coach the girls team. I have locked him in already for next year! I would also like to thank Jodie Britt and Raelene Cushion for being our scorers and to all our wonderful parent supporters who took the time out of their busy days to support our fantastic students.
