Athletics Carnival
We are in desperate need for assistance on our Athletics Day - Monday 27th March.
A reminder that ALL volunteers (whether existing or new) need to complete an Expression of Interest form prior to volunteering. Please click here for the form. All volunteers must also have a current Working With Children card. If you can help please email Nicky on nrussell@scballarat.catholic.edu.au or Wayne wlynch@scballarat.catholic.edu.au.
Just a reminder parents and family members are unable to be on the oval during the Athletics Carnival, unless you have been signed up as a volunteer. This is an excellent reason to volunteer, you get a prime position to witness your child/children’s excitement as they participate in a wide range of activities.
The canteen will be closed to all students, we request that families honour this and don't buy junk food for your child.
Please ensure that your child dresses appropriately for the weather conditions. Children are welcome to wear a top to represent their house colour, otherwise please wear full sports uniform and a house colour bib will be supplied.
It's going to be a wonderful day, please consider if you are able to assist!
If the weather is inclement and the sports is to be postponed a SMS message will go out by 8:15am. The sports will only be postponed if the weather conditions are extreme.
Can all parents/carers please check the parent helpers program to make sure the information is correct, this was sent out on Tuesday via Skoolbag App. Please note for safety reasons no parents will be able to be past the fence area unless they have contacted either Wayne Lynch or Nicky Russell and they have their name on the program.
After School Basketball
If your child is interested in the 3/4 after school Basketball Competition and Tournament day please see the care monkey message sent out earlier this week.
Sporting results
Congratulations to Charlotte Doherty who is competing in the Regional Swimming Carnival this Friday.
Good luck to those twenty one children involved in the District (Catholic) Cross Country tomorrow.
