- Lunch box Tips

If your family took home a native on Tree Day, we hope that you have found the perfect spot for your tree or shrub! Please be mindful that they are not small trees. As I was helping “Jeff” to unload the plants from the council ute, I was informed that the gums in particular grow to be VERY large!

Lunchbox Tip #5
If there are some things that you just cannot fit into a container or feel the need to cling wrap, there are many reusable and washable options that act in the same way! These products are durable and over time will save you money in wrap as well as saving the planet.
Just Google “reusable wrap Australia” or something along those lines and off you go! Here are some good online shops to help get you started:

Do you know…?
- That you are welcome to use our compost heap for your home fruit and vegetable scraps. It is located along the Armstrong St fence.
- That two of the teachers’ favourite shops, Goves and Bodega, both offer a discount if you bring your reusable coffee cup.
- Any great lunchbox tips or recipes!?! Please send these through to ksiebring@scballarat.catholic.edu.au so that we can feature them on our newsletter. I don’t have children and so you guys are the real experts here!
