Plants Needed!
We are beginning to create and plan our kitchen garden and are looking for any potted herbs, cuttings or seeds that you may be willing to donate from home. Can be as simple as a cutting from existing herbs in your very own garden (like Rosemary or Mint).
Please contact Erica via email ewilson@scballarat.catholic.edu.au or drop them into the office. Thanks for your help!

Redcycle - soft plastic recycling
We all know to recycle hard plastics, but what can we do with soft plastics to avoid them going to landfill? The answer is REDcycle!
RED Group, a Melbourne-based consulting and recycling organisation, has developed and implemented the REDcycle Program; a recovery initiative for post-consumer soft plastic.
RED Group has teamed up with Coles, Woolworths and some of Australia’s biggest brands to make it easy for you to keep your plastic bags and soft plastic packaging out of landfill. All you need to do is collect your soft plastic packaging such as plastic bags, cereal liners, biscuit and pasta packages (see the comprehensive on the link below) and return them to any REDcycle collection point at your local Coles or Woolworths.
